Recipe of the Month – Feb 2020

no-bake protein-packed energy balls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1/2 cup French Vanilla by Designer Whey
  • 1/2 tsp Flaxseed
  • 2 Tbs natural peanut butter (I use Smuckers). Use organic, if possible.
  • 1/3 cup organic unsweetened applesauce
  • 1 Tbs Honey
  • 2 Tbs chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup raisins (optional)
  • 1/3 cup slivered almonds (optional)

Method

  • In a medium bowl, mix together ingredients.
  • Roll into small to medium size balls.
  • Place on wax paper and refrigerate 2-3 hours to harden. OR place in freezer to harden quicker.
  • Store in refrigerator.
