Fresh berry french toast

Ingredients
- 8 slices day old french bread
- 3/4 cup egg beaters
- 1/4 cup almond milk
- 1 Tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 1 pinch allspice
- butter to sauté with
For topping:
- 2 cups assorted fresh berries
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 orange, juice and zest
- Powdered sugar and whipped cream, optional
Method
- Dip french bread slices in the egg mixture and let soak slightly
- Sauté bread on butter until golden brown on both sides
- Arrange on a plate, top with berries and garnish with powdered sugar and whipped cream, if desired.
