Favorite motivational training song? I don’t listen to music when I train
 
Favorite mantra? I think a lot about tempo and cadence, so I find myself thinking “1, 2, 3… 1, 2, 3… 1, 2, 3…” a lot
 
Key Workout? In the winter I like to go to the gym and do bike/run repeats – 10 minutes on the bike then 5 minutes on the treadmill for 1-1.5 hours.
 
Best Triathlon training or racing tip? Get to the race healthy.
 
Triathlon literature or other sources of information? Training Peaks articles, USA Triathlon email, The Run Experience, Endurance Magazine.
 
Who inspires you? I am continuously blown away by all of the local athletes that come out and participate and compete in races – supporting each other and providing a great deal of inspiration.
 
Future goal? Pilot Mountain to Hanging Rock 50k – 2018
