Your favorite triathlon? High Point Sprint Triathlon (We get to present the First Time triathlete Award in honor of my brother)

Meal the night before race? Usually chicken risotto with butternut squash (made by my amazing wife)

Pre-Race Meal? Coffee, Paleo blueberry pancakes and a Lara bar for 70.3s

Race Nutrition? SlayRX Diesel, SalyRX Hydrate and Huma gels

Favorite motivational training song? ”You Can’t Stop Me” by Andy Mineo

Favorite mantra? Dig Deep!
Key Workout? For me it’s all about bricks! The more you can do, the more your body gets used to having wobbly legs!

Best Triathlon training or racing tip? Find balance and don’t out run the fun

Triathlon literature or other sources of information? I enjoy frequenting Slowtwitch to know that I am not the only crazy one out there. “I am here to win” by Chris McCormack is by far one of the best triathlon books I have read to date.

Who inspires you? I pull my inspirations from all over the place. Everyone has a story to tell.

Future goal or bucket list race? I want to do a 140.6, Dirty Kanza and Leadville 100.
