Key Workout? For me, it’s just all about being as consistent as possible with the training plan.

Best Triathlon training or racing tip? Practice your race day nutrition on your long weekend rides and runs…my stomach would always get nauseated with gels, but I found Tailwind to be very gentle on the stomach.

Triathlon literature or other sources of information? I did my first 70.3 and 140.6 distances using the free “Super Simple 70.3 & 140.6 Training Plans” by Matt Fitzgerald and will begin using Don Fink’s “Be Iron Fit” training plan after my Everesting attempt December 5th at Lover’s Leap near Floyd, VA.

Who inspires you? Chris Nikic, a Special Olympics Florida athlete who has Down Syndrome and is training to become the first person to complete a full Ironman Triathlon with Down Syndrome
