Favorite motivational training song? I typically don’t train with music, but on race morning I always listen to Bittersweet Symphony by The Verve (It was an old Nike commercial)

Favorite mantra? Just keep swimming (in Dori’s voice of course, or biking or running)

Key Workout? Of the 3 disciplines, biking is the most important. Also key are intervals in all 3 sports.

Best Triathlon training or racing tip? Just keep moving forward. Also, you may hear not to do anything different on race day. I have to admit that I always do! Not on purpose, but stuff happens. On race day just know you are prepared, so don’t worry, and have fun!!!!

Triathlon literature or other sources of information? Chrissy Wellington, old articles I cut out of magazines back in the late ’90’s early 2000’s. Old school baby!

Who inspires you? My fellow distance runner and triathlete husband. He has completed 13 marathons and 4 full Iron-distance triathlons and is still going. Also my TTT teammates and best girlfriends and training partners.

Future goal? Ironman Barcelona or Switzerland or Hamburg and a Tough Mudder-type race.
