Meal the night before race? Pasta
Pre-Race Meal? Oatmeal, banana, granola bar, water

Favorite motivational training song? Eye of the Tiger
Favorite mantra? Let’s go, you got this!
Key Workout? I approach every workout as a key workout, but probably a brick becomes more important as I get closer to the race.
Best Triathlon training or racing tip? Every time training is an opportunity to get better. Focus on yourself and surround yourself with positive individuals.
Triathlon literature or other sources of information? A former coach of mine co-wrote the book ‘Going Long.’ I would recommend that to everyone. I also read every triathlon autobiography out there.
Who inspires you? My husband and my children inspire me every day. My husband gives me unconditional support and encouragement. My children show me nothing is impossible, and we can all achieve if we have no fear and don’t make something impossible before we try it. The triathlete who inspires me the most is Chrissie Wellington. She has an unwavered determination for herself. She races from the beginning of the race until she crosses that finish line. She supports and cheers for so many athletes and has helped amazing foundations along the way.
