(I did complete a Ramblin Rose tri in 2014 and 2015, but I just did those for fun with little to no training!)

Meal the night before race?

I stay away from most veggies. I usually eat a white meat or seafood and pasta or potato dinner.

Pre-Race Meal?

Waffles with peanut butter (or rx protein bar) and banana.

Race Nutrition?

NBS hydration and Payday candy bars!

Open water practice!

Best Triathlon training or racing tip?

Try not to let your finish time steal the joy of finishing a race….the point is, YOU FINISHED!!!!!

I just researched and learned what I could from various articles online!

Who inspires you?

My family, my tri- friends (they rock!) and my bike group.

Future goal or bucket list race?

I hope to complete another 70.3, but I don’t have my eyes set on one yet!
